Apparently Alizarin Lake does not like to mix with water, that is it's nature. I got a tip from Baroness Annejke that if you put it in a mortar and mix with a pestle and add just a little water at a time you can force the water into the pigment. I have not tried this yet. But she said that mixing it with a muller on glass just doesn't work well. Hope this helps a little bit. I am in my 4th week of therapy. I can handle limited weight on my arm, and am starting to feel like I can start practising again. I have started some basic weight training and am still working on flexability. I can not scratch my back yet, arm does not bend in yet. I can not sleep on my right side yet, the shoulder is not strong enough to hold my weight. I can however with reasonable easy put my hair up in a pony tail when I want instead of having to have my wife do it for me all the time. Tying my shoes is no longer difficult. I can almost bring my arm straight out to my side. I am only off by a few degrees. I found knee pads at the local harware store I can wear on my shoulder for when I start fighting again. I can almost pull my arm straight up with a pulley As far as pain...I ache. I figure that I am rebuilding muscle, which hurts a bit, and I am stretching, which also hurts a bit, so aching is perfectly healthy and the physical therapists agree. So all and all, things are going well. The PT's want me for another two weeks to do more work on inner rotation and strength training. Well, that is all for now. your servant, mahee _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com =================================================================== To unsubscribe from this list, send email to with a blank Subject: line and unsubscribe scribes in the body of the message.
