[scribes]: Request and opportunity [scribes]: Trials and tribulations [scribes]: swamped ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Tue, 17 Jul 2001 13:45:24 -0500 (EST) From: john j cash Subject: [scribes]: Request and opportunity Dear folks, This is primarily addressed to Midrealm scribes. I've been asked by Their Majesties to do Their county scrolls, and have accepted. Since I already have what honors I want, I thought this assignment should leave more behind than merely a smile on Their faces. I wonder if anyone would like to work with me -- or knows of anyone who could work with me -- to get some experience doing peerage-level scrolls. This pending Their Majesties' approval. Communication would have to be frequent and would include phone calls. Deadline is Coronation, Sep. 22. Let me know. - -- Johannes v.n. Setting the gold isn't so bad, especially placing some Armenian bole in the size. And somehow get some on my fingernail. So, not only did I have the leaf on the scroll, but on the tip of said fingernail, and I have to go to work fairly soon. Wondering if I should just leave it...or try like the dickens to get it off. Isolde who actually did get it off in time before going to work. Per pale sable and argent, an escallop counterchanged. I'll be playing catch-up was soon as the current panic is over. I'm going to be on the road (I-80, to be specific) moving my furniture (including husband) out of California and up to Idaho. And when not doing moving things, I'll be prepping for my symposium talk at the end of the month. So for those of you looking for replies to your emails sent during the last week, your patience please (especially Gara, since I need to get the brain rewired to think in French in order to do justice to your questions; and Mairi, regarding my overdue reply about period varnishes). Anyone else, if you send me email right now to the no1home address, there's no guarentee I'll be answering it right away, unless, of course, your name is Galen (hi Galen, hope your boards went ok), or you want in on the upcoming SCA rock hunting trip. Thanks for your attention. We now return you to your regularly scheduled mailing list. ttfn, Therasia, aka Twcs, aka Catie, aka Dr. Helm-Clark, aka HeyYou, etc. =================================================================== To unsubscribe from this list, send email to with a blank Subject: line and unsubscribe scribes in the body of the message.
