In me personal experience, bubbles tend to come along because I've mixed the solution too vigirously, trapping some air in the thick mixture, rather than from any chemical reaction that might release some gas. Gesso recipie or painting solution, every time the mixture gets to a certain viscosity, I get bubbles if I stir too hard, regardless of the chemical componants. :-) And ear wax is indeed a terrific solution to the problem. ;-) Your Servant, Merouda _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com =================================================================== To unsubscribe from this list, send email to with a blank Subject: line and unsubscribe scribes in the body of the message. I was wondering if there was a "protocol" of wax seals? Like colors, designs, what they're used for (I know about "sealing" a letter; been there, done that). Thank you! - --Katie =================================================================== To unsubscribe from this list, send email to with a blank Subject: line and unsubscribe scribes in the body of the message.
