It's a zipped file, which is standard for most download sites. If you need something to unzip the file, go to www.download.com and run a search for Aladdin Expander. It's free, very easy to use, and also comes in PC and Mac versions. It will uncompress most of the common file formats out there. In service.. It's made specifically for Reform fountain calligraphy pens. I have severely abused my 2-year old Reform pens by leaving the ink in them for many months of inactivity. (While I played with dip pens and sumi ink, that is...) And they still work. So either the pens are very forgiving, the ink is very forgiving, or I am very lucky! Paper & Ink Books sells Reform ink (it's also available in fine art supply stores); maybe you can give it a try in your Osmiroid pen.
