What do I have? Way too many books to post a detailed list here. But since you asked about what's become available in the last couple of years I thought I'd respond to that with some of the ones I've picked up more recently: The Painted Page by JJG Alexander The Gilded Page by Kathleen Whitly (newly published this year - she's also an SCA scribe) The Gualenghi-d'Este Hours by The Getty Museum (a facsimile) The Hours of Simon de Varie by James H. Marrow (Getty is publisher) Medieval Illuminators and their methods of work by JJG Alexander Topkapi Manuscripts (part of a series on items in the Topkapi Museum) by J.M. Rogers Painting and Illumination in Early Renaissance Florence by The Met Museum King of the World by Milo Cleveland Beach (on Moghul illumination) Overlooking the Ages (Ferrini Catalog Oct 1999) by Jorn Gunther I know this isn't a complete list of what I've bought in the last 5 years or so, although some of those have been books that have been out for a while. I've also picked up a lot of Sotheby's and Christie's catalogs for auctions that have taken place over the last 5-7 years, but there's about a dozen of them so I won't list those. I picked up a bottle of it at Hobby Lobby. It still needs to be kept well stirred up (never shaken) so that the little gold particles (probably actually bronze powder) remain well suspended.
