I have volunteered to do my first AoA scroll and need some help. Specifically, I need to do the scroll in a Mongol fashion. Ideally Chingghis Khan's day but anything that was directly appropriate for the duration of the Mongol empire will due. I have no problems with the language as I have reliable means for translation. What I am having trouble with is what would such an award look like? My AoA was done to resemble a Persian miniature but I would prefer a look that is more authentic to the Mongol culture. In my research, I haven't turned up many Mongol Awards of Arms... Oh, I'm in a rush as well - I need to do this for EKU - 10/21. I've seen one done once that was lettering on a cloth mounted on a wood frame without any illumination. I would imagine that something on paper would be more appropriate.
