I'll keep the list up to date on the progress of CT's efforts. - -- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Douglas Brownell AKA Thomas Brownwell, Calligrapher, brownwell@home.com Dancer,Silversmith,Singer,Cobbler,... Is that right Astridhr?-JimBear Yes, we held a Scribal Heraldic Symposium about 2-3 yrs ago. We chose at that time to do it for various reasons one of which was the ability to concentrate scribes and heralds together and enable them to do more study in an indepth manner. Networking always produces good things. Since that time our Kingdom Collegium has changed its structure to include regents for each subject area thus ensuring better coverage and planning of a given area. I still think the ability to get together in a smaller group at a smaller symposium is a good thing from time to time. I agree with Eowyn's statement about burning out instructors if one does it every year. Astridhr ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 22 Jul 98 14:47:17 PDT From: ercil@astrid.upland.ca.us (E. My husband has them with the College of Herald's stock of other things. Mistress Eowyn did the proceedings and did a fantastic job. I drool over the scribal one at regular intervals. Since we had two tracts at the Symposium (Heraldic and Scribal respectively) we have a set of proceedings for each, which may be purchased separately. I will find out what is in stock and costs and get back to the list. :) best, Astridhr ------------------------------ End of scribes digest V2 #182 *****************************
