It is a laser cut piece of brass, showing the two Celtic men entwined. The lines are no wider than 1mm. and is surprisingly intricate for it's size. Scribally speaking.....It is a laser cut template that I use for some really quick knotwork. To do the same piece using the grid method would take me 2-3 hours. I also have used it when teaching knotwork classes (to both children and adults). It's a great way to restore confidence in those who just cannot grasp the methods of drafting just yet. It also makes a quick piece for adults to paint with period pigments, so they have something to take home with them.
