Sometimes a different scroll, a new technique or new product or sometimes a completely different type of project altogether. The first is to have a break for a a little while, and do things like go for a walk or clean the house, which gives the batteries time to recharge. The second thing I do is look through my C&I library, and look at doing something different-for example, if I've been doing lots of late-period documents, I"ll look at something Celtic or Caroline, which helps keep my work "fresh". I also go back through my files and look at scrolls I wasn't entirely happy with, and see what I did wrong and how I can fix it. This might lead to me doing another scroll in that style with the corrections, or an aspect of that style can lead me off in another direction, which keeps the interest and enthusiasm up.
