I had not ever really *expected* anything more than thanks, and was really happy when someone seemed to like their scroll. I guess I thought, I do this because I really *like* doing it, so that's enough. Then....The recipient of the AoA scroll I just finished offered to make me lace for the neckline of a chemise. I was just thrilled. How spiff! And a laurel just asked if I would consider a commission for his laurel scroll, and talked about working out an appropriate barter. Wow! And hot damn besides! So, I do it because I love it, but appreciation is *really* nice. But appreciation AND neat stuff? Hot diggety! This is "Stagg" Brand and I was buying from the cashier at the factory (about 5 km from here). I don't know what the weight of the gold is in gsm. Occasionally we get some better deals, but generally the prices down here are much worse than what you pay (if you can get it at all), mostly as there are so few people down here. as ever Thorfinn, Lochac, West Melbourne (3+M), Australia (18+M) Thomas Brownwell wrote: > > The best gold prices I've found are at EasyLeaf.com.
