I have one more for you :) I'm working with a Shaeffer cartridge pen and want to change ink colors... the one in there now isn't spent and I would like to save it if possible... is this possible? Is there something I can put over the hole in the plastic that would preserve the ink or should I just toss it? Thanks again! Shaeffer cartridges are not really THAT expensive, so that part shouldn't hurt too much, at least. You could also try sealing the taped cartridge inside a jar, as an added layer of protection. I don't have much faith that this will work for very long, but you can try it. Shaffer does make a blatter for its pens. These can be quite usefull, and would let you change your colors as often ans you want with little loss.
