Very nicely done on the black and white piece, although when I downloaded it it took quite a while even on a T1 line and wound up being a HUGE image that I had to scroll back and forth thru. But this did give me the advantage of seeing what you were talking about with repainting the lettering. I've always liked the white on black look myself, but the uneveness of it, and the necessity to retouch in a lot of cases, has always detered me from doing much of it. Which hand did you say the calligraphy was in? I only had time to look at this year's piece - I'll take a look at last years when I get a few minutes. I've got it here at home and use it a lot to translate stuff I find in MSS., as the prayers found in Books of Hours are basically the same ones in my missal. Things from my childhood, pre-Vatican II days were just about unchanged from Mediaeval times, so I got to learn the Latin Liturgy as a small child and got to hear gorgeous High Masses chanted in Latin plainchant.
