Hughes" Subject: [scribes]: measuring Hello all- Therasia von Tux showed me a nifty way to make the letters "float," yet maintain a uniform size. After the guide lines are drawn on the parchment for upper and lower limits, she lines a small piece of paper with the actual size of her letters and the upper and lower limits. Periodically as she calligs, she matches the upper and lower limits to her little guide, and checks the size of her letters. Very low-tech, inexpensive, and works really well!
