Greetings to everyone, I have been gathering all the gouache information
together (making a list of colours to buy and what mixes give what colours)
and have been really learning alot about gilding - I may even try it some
day soon. Thank you.

The only art store near me, which actually carries W&N Gouache, is a small
local place BUT they only have about 6 colors - flesh (which I bought),
cad. orange, vermillion and some green I don't remember the name of, white
and cobalt blue.
Ordering through them is not an option - I order some gold ink 8+ weeks ago
and although it came in (I went in with a friend and bought a jar off the
shelf) I still haven't been told my order is in and they ordered the wrong
stuff first and that took three weeks to come in. (gripe gripe gripe)

Our local university bookstore doesn't have any gouache - and a very
limited amount of watercolor, all of which is  available and a lot cheaper
at the crummy art store.

In any case,  I have a question - I have decided to upgrade my selection
and purchase some gouache, by mail order (I have been using very cheap
watercolors).  What are some opinions of some of the brands available?  So
far I have sources for W&N, Holbein and Turner. Has any one used them and
what did you think?  Turner is having a big sale (pretty cheap and if the
colors are good quality I will probably go with them).
