To s*bscribe to the new digest version, email majordomo@castle.org with s*bscribe scribes-digest uns*bscribe scribes in the body of the message. [replace the * with a "u" in the above commands!] (The "uns*bscribe" command will remove you from the regular list, so you don't get double messages.) I'm not sure how frequent the digests will be, though I know at least one a day will go out. It depends on how busy the list is. " The unofficial answer is, "We are working to make that more flexible" , but lots of flack in that direction is unlikely to move the Scribe Armarius, and only make him cling to the current practice more tenaciously. On the other hand, I have seen many Caidan scrolls in which the arms are done smaller, and I do not believe he has rejected them. The real requirement is that the shield should be large enough to show the arms clearly and distinctly. Talk to him nicely beforehand, and exceptions are likely to be no problem. I really don't think he (or any previous Scribe Armarius) has actually measured the size of the arms display on scrolls.
