If they were given out with the award they were probably hand-painted charter scrolls. (i.e. masters designed by either Liam or Eowyn, photocopied and then painted by various different people). I've encouraged people to sign they names at the bottom after they've painted them, but they aren't always signed. So, it's possible that the Herald didn't know who painted them. On the other hand, I can't recall when the painter of promisories or charter scrolls was ever mentioned in Court (unlike original scrolls presented at Coronation and 12th night where the names of illuminators and calligraphers is always mentioned.).
regards,

Greetings,
I was at the King's Hunt event in Carreg Wen (Caid) this past weekend. There
were several very nice scrolls handed out (Harp Argent and a few Dolphins,
IIRC), but I was disappointed to see that there was no mention of the scribes.
I was especially disappointed when His Majesty held the first scroll up for the
'obligatory' "ooh, ahh, how pretty" chorus. (Then the recipient promptly
spilled water on it.)
This was the first truly Caidian court I attended, and while there were some
very nice moments, this treatment of the scrolls left a bad taste in my mouth.
If anyone knows who did the scrolls for this event, please post their names; I
at least would like to thank them for their work.
Márti
Darach, Caid
