Yes, classes on making paints and ink would be lovely to see.

Other classes to think about include:

Patterning in goldwork --stamping, cutting pressing etc...

Using silverpoint

Modeling faces in period manuscripts

Creating a master scribal study set for the Period you are interested in

Creating a basic scribal kit that travels well

Making and using crow quills

Some period appropriate color palettes translated to modern paint varieties

Paint chemistry - what makes a Lake?  Copper usage, etc.

Size matters---no really-- a class relating to how to use size and gesso in
scribal applications
