Hello from the autocrat.
Sable Sable, I will be in touch. I need you!!! :) The scribes will
be in charge of the scribal track, display and workroom. We''ll work
out who does what so that this herald (who hasn't done a scroll in 12
years) won't be an impediment to showcasing and teaching the scribal
community as is appropriate to this event hosted in An Tir.
The following is a short version of what I posted on the An Tir
Heralds mailing list. The phone number is for you folks, as well - if
you want me, call me.
Our dates are June 11-13, 2010, and the site is beautiful Pacific
University. The bid we presented to the Laurel Queen of Arms is online
at http://oscar.sca.org/index.php?action=100&loi=604
which should be visible to all.
Some might have noticed my online presence has been less than before
of late. I'm alive, well, and working on KWHSS but not as likely to
log on daily for email. I couldn't convince the OSCAR folks to post
my phone number, so I'm putting it on this mailing list for anyone who
needs to get into contact with me (no need for it to be an emergency,
phone is now the best way to catch me):
503-256-1891
Now, I operate on a swing-night shift, so there's no 'call before'
time. Just call, and expect voice mail if I'm not awake or home. Leave
me a number and _your_ 'don't call after' times, and I'll get back to
you.
Gwenlliana Clutterbooke is my able assistant autocrat, so if you can't
catch me, speak to her, or catch her if she's convenient.
Laurel provides us web space; I'll post the URL as soon as I have it.
On-site lodging reservations will be available when we sign contracts.
Lady Gwenlliana, Sinister Gauntlet, coordinates that. Please wait for
an announcement that sleeping space registration is available before
asking, thank you.
