[Antir_scribes] Introduction

Hello everyone!

 

I've recently started getting involved in Scribal work and am really enjoying it. I've painted a number of charters in the past few months, but my big project is an original scroll I am currently working on. It is at the painting stage now and coming along pretty well, though I am a little annoyed with the green gauche I have. It does not go on very well I'm afraid, so I might be going out to get a different green, scraping off the first layer, and redoing it.

 

Here's a picture of it after the inking. I haven't done the calligraphy yet and am a little hesitant too. I'm cheating somewhat because I've printed out the wording on paper and will be tracing it. I'm not good enough yet to do it all on my own.
