Greetings to the An Tir College of Scribes from Bronwen Sable Sable,

I wish you all - a most excellent 2009.

:-) well...
since I can not post attachments to this list, I have posted a little
something to the An Tir College of Scribes website.

I've been working on a Guidebook for the An Tir Royal Scribe...
you can now find it here
http://www.scribes.antir.sca.org/Contacts/ContactRoyalScribe.html
(the link is in the middle of the page and it is a .pdf file so you will
need adobe to read it)

I'm a little nervous about it - because I'm sure that it has some problems
:-)
and sending out this note - is sort of like inviting you all to be copy
editors - and that's sort of scary :-S

There are some documents called out in text - that say they are on the
Website
However, they are not there yet - (and I know it) - but, they will be
available on the website in due time

Even if you don't want to be a Royal Scribe
I encourage you to look through the document
as there are some things in there that I think are interesting to all
scribes (look to the appendices)
like a 1 (one) page guidance document on how to make Charter Design Masters

please let me know if you see any "glaring" errors

I intended this document to be for people interested in serving as a Royal
Scribe.

eventually, sister documents will be created - where the audience is the
entire scribal community
so, you may think at first, that there are things left out of this guidebook
that scribes should be hearing
(but, remember the intended audience - the stuff that was intentionally left
out - has a home in a different handbook)

I hope that some of you find this to be an educational tool :-)
because really - thats the reason it was made

YIS
Bronwen
