Greetings from Bronwen Sable Sable,

Hi everyone :-)

Well, its been a very odd 4 weeks

On the way home from Coronation - I was struck with Acute Pancreatitis
very painful 6 hour trip in the car
but waited until I was in my home town to go to the emergency room
good thing - as they admitted me into Acute Care and I stayed for 6 days
under some very crazy intravaneous pain medication and no food.
They overwatered me at the hospital with that saline drip thing
and I gained 27 pounds there (thats about 3 1/2 gallons of excess water)

Got sent home on Saturday - with pain pills - but stopped taking them the
next day
awful and crazy stuff - bad dreams - bad headaches - opiates are just plain
bad stuff :-)


So then I was at home for a week dealing with a bit of leftover pain and
relearning to eat and working at losing all that water
eventually - I was down 10 pounds from when I went into the hospital
so, I'm figuring that I really had about 37 pounds of excess water in my
system
crazy - that is :-)

Went back to my doc on the following Monday and he gave me permission to
return to work

however, we had this trip to Chicago planned - to see my daughter graduate
from Navy Boot Camp
so we hopped a plane on Wednesday and off we went (that was probably not the
smartest thing I've ever done :-S - but it turned out okay)

Flew into Seattle on Sunday - drove home from Seattle on Monday - returned
to my first day of work on Tuesday
with hundreds of work e-mails to answer and fulfill

had a bit of jet lag - so just went home after work all week and went to bed

My energy is still not quite 100% (maybe about 83%)
but I'm here if you need me and will try to get after any e-mails that you
have sent - this weekend.

I do have some, but I'm not seeing others - If you reported - I'm sure it is
there
