Greetings,
This is a reminder that the Introduction to Making Original Scrolls class, taught by Wynn the Waywarde, is coming up very soon! Next Tuesday, April 7th, to be exact.
If
you or anyone you know wants to learn how to get started as a
scribe, or make the leap from charter painter to scribe, be there. This will be an overview of many topics, including layout and legibility, adapting from period examples, choosing calligraphy hands and illumination styles, general requirements and tips for text and heraldry, miniatures, period and modern materials. Examples of many tools and materials will be available to peruse, as well as several reference books.
Date: April 7
Time: 7 pm
Address: 8537 10th Ave NW, between 15th Ave NW and Greenwood Ave N in the North Ballard/Greenwood area of Seattle.
Thanks to Sean & Nicolette for hosting!
