[Antir_scribes] Antir Culture Wiki - scribal information

Greetings,

For the past several years I have been gathering the information sent
out on this list.  Recently I encountered the An Tir culture wiki, and
I would like to create a page or series of pages on illumination
information that could be updated and edited by scribes.

I did contact Wikipedia to create a how-to illumination page but was
informed that how-to information really isn't appropriate for that
medium.  It's more encyclopedic.  However, it seems that the AnTir
wiki would be a perfect place to put such information.

My suggestion would be to document such things as:

Materials:  paints, pigments, inks, paper, writing tables, pens,
knifes, gilding, vellum,  (could be making, getting, what to get,
where to purchase, how it was made, etc)

Sources:  images, documents, books, videos, scribal libraries, links
to kingdom scribal handbooks.

How do people feel about this idea?
