Greetings from Dame Tamlyn,
Been away from the computer at Kingdom Bardic and am not caught up on this
"conversation" or most of the e-mail from this weekend:-s but no, they
wouldn't be the classes I was talking about:-} I can't remember if I posted
out, but the class schedule got a little scrunched up in an attempt to get
new scribes to the point they might enter something in the 12th Night
contest (and those after 12th Night may change after some thought about the
classes I taught this last weekend:-)
October 6 Scriptorium
October 20 Calligraphy Basics, Tools & Materials (for calligraphy) (2 hours+
out of class practice)
November 3 Texts for Scrolls/ Achievements
November 17 Really Basic Scroll Layout/ Design Transfer/Inspiration
December 1 Tools & Materials for Layout, Gilding, Painting
December 15 All that Glitters (Gold/Silver areas on Scrolls)
December 31-January 4 Wynter Retreat - Ramblewood ELC
Working with vellum
Manuscript layout
Quill Calligraphy
Gilding
(will be putting a call out for other classes, but this weekend will not be
as class intensive as last year's I would like to see people working on
projects and networking - there is also a maximum limit of 28 inside beds)
January 5 Scriptorium (collect any scrolls/charters that need to go to 12th
Night)
January 10 Twelfth Night Scroll contest (Novice categories:-}
January 19 Gottingen Model Book diapering
February 2 Scriptorium
February 16 Estrella War (will see who is staying around)
March 3 Gottingen Model Book Foliage
March 17 Gulf Wars (may be going unsure)
April 6 Scriptorium
April 20 Designing Charters (in prep for the winners of May Crown)
May 4 Scriptorium
May 18 Non-Paper Scrolls
