Additional note from Bronwen about Seal spacing for Charters
Copied from previous note
"The seal matrix is 2 3/8" dia. and for an experienced seal maker, the seal
usually comes out around 2 5/8". You should probably be leaving about a 3"
to 3 1/2" dia. space for the Kingdom seal - if you are not already.
The signet ring is 7/8" x 3/4" but the puddle of wax is around 1 1/2" to 1
3/4" and for mine, you might need around a 2" diameter space".(if you are
designing a scroll to use the Kingdom Signet seal instead of large the
Kingdom Seal.
Eleanor,
Please let the list know if Their Highnesses do not want any charters
designed to use the smaller Signet Seal.
