[Antir_scribes] To the Baronial Scribes - from Sable Sable

Greetings Baronial Scribes,

I would like to begin getting a Roster Warrant together for you all (its my job and you deserve to have a copy of your warrant in your hand :-).

I need your Membership Cards in order to do that and am calling for them by your October 15th Reporting Date.
(You could include them with your Quarterly Report or send them earlier if you want)

If I do not receive a card from you - I cannot warrant you in your Baronial Office and you will not officially be an Officer of the Barony.  

It would be really great if you sent a change of officer form to me too - as I have no records at hand and it would make my life so darn easy.


This is not a note for Baronial "Court" Scribes - Baronial "Court" Scribes do not have to have a Paid SCA membership and they are not considered an Officer of the Barony.


If you live in a Principality - Your Principality Scribe will be creating your warrant and you should also be reporting to her by the October 15th date - not to me.  She will be compiling your reports into her report and sending it to me on her due date which is October 30th.  She may ask for your Cards before that time so that she can get a warrant together by her reporting date.


I know that I will not catch all the Baronial Scribes with this e-mail as some people do not have computers - so this info is going to be in the October Crier and in the snail-mail letter that I just sent off to all the Baronial Seneschals.

1)      Name and Contact Information for your Contingency Deputy and/or name and contact information of the individual who will be taking your place if you are currently planning to step down.

 

2)      List Scribal Activities including workshops, contests, educational opportunities, etc. in your Barony ~ or lack thereof.

 

3)      List any goals that you have set for yourself and/or your scribal community.

 

4)      List the Scribes currently working in the Barony and their Contact information (but only if they want their info sent to Kingdom).

 

5)      List the Scribal Teachers and their contact information (but only if they want their info sent to Kingdom).

 

6)      List any special commendations for bright and shining individuals - with descriptions of their accomplishments.

 

7)      List Changes in Baronial Policy that effect the Scribes.

 

8)      List things that your Barony allows you to purchase for your office and your scribal community.

 

9)      List things you would like my assistance with.

 

10)   Please let me know if you are a subscriber of the AnTir Scribes e-mail list and if your Barony has a scribes e-mail list of its own (and if you would like me to subscribe to it).

 

11)   Please keep me informed of individuals who are doing Kingdom Level original scrolls and master Charters to help me make accurate recommendations to Their Royal Majesties for giving the "Sable Scrivener" award.

 

12)   Please send a copy of your SCA Card for warranting purposes.
