Hear Ye, Hear Ye, 

There will be a Scribal contest at An Tir’s 12th Night!

Any kingdom level scroll done in the months since12th Night 2007 but not previously entered into a contest are eligible for the 12th Night contest.

Entry categories are:

    •    Novice – 1-5 kingdom scrolls
    •    Intermediate – 6 to 12
    •    Experienced – 12 or more
    •    Best Calligraphy
    •    Period Materials
    •    Best Use of Heraldry
    •    Populace Choice
    •    best use of "drolleries" - sponsored by Sable Sable (Bronwen)
    •    All that Glitters! - best use of gold - by Dame Tamlyn
    

Scrolls will be displayed at the “Scribal Area”. Please make sure to get your scrolls to the contest site after 6pm on Friday and from 8am to 10am on Saturday. 

You may enter more than one scroll. 
Documentation is required for Period Materials category. An entry from the SCA Armorial or from the An Tir on-line Armorial is required for all Heraldry used. Documentation is suggested for all other entries.
Populace choice balloting all day Saturday 10 am to 10 pm. 
So dust off the pigments and condition the brushes.
