I'm really pleased with how this discussion is going and hope that more is
to come!
I'm so enjoying reading about the various experiences and ways of life -
thank-you to those who have responded.
I have to tell you, that I've been perusing the AnTir Baronial Websites and
I do know that there are some Baronies out there that do not have Baronial
Scribes. (Which is what brought on the questions)
For me, this is a most superb educational discussion - helping the members
of our Scribal Community to envision what this position of service and art
can mean to a Barony.
I hope that it sparks ideas for current Baronial Scribes - some of which
they might end up taking to their Councils for consideration
or that it encourages Scribes who currently do the work informally - to
maybe seek to formalize the position in their Barony
and I am also hoping that it will inform and then encourage Scribes to
consider serving in the position where their Barons and Baronesses may not
currently have the help they may desperatly need.
Oh, and did I forget to say...
Baronial Scribes send quarterly reports to me
and if a Barony does not have a Baronial Scribe, it is less likely that I
will get to hear any of the cool news about who is creating what :-).
and I do 'really' want to hear about the deeds and exploits of the Scribal
Artists in AnTir
May our service be ever joyful and an enrichment to AnTir
