[Antir_scribes] Madrone: New Baronial scribe needed

Hello to all the amazingly talented scribes of An Tir! 

The following is my recruitment message - I'm seeking a replacement after helping or being the Baronial scribe for a long time. (I need a breather.) The applicants can be from the neighborly areas to Madrone as well - you don't have to have the exact zip code. Madrone has two major events a year, Lionhearts - this weekend, and the Baronial Banquet in the fall. There may be one or two additional events that you're asked to support. 

If anyone is interested or you know anyone who might be interested, this is a prime opportunity to get some great practice, meet some really fun people, and play with scribal techniques and scrolls. We have charters, and there are master designs for all the awards (save for three, and I'm doing those today). So if you need more charter designs, we have three or more local artists happy to help out. 

The Baron and Baroness are lovely to work with, telling me ahead of time how many they need of each award, and they have a fabulous sense of humor and are really good at what they do.

This is Adrianna the Fierce, your current Madrone Baronial scribe. I'm happy to report that the scribal office is in great shape. We have supplies, we have stockpiled painted scrolls, we have fancy wooden scroll carrying cases. 

What we need is... a new scribe. I've done this for a long time and I'd like to share the fun. If anyone is interested in becoming the next Baronial scribe, please email me or see me in person at Lionhearts. 

The Baronial scribe does the following: 
 - coordinates the charter design creation from different people (or themselves) when it is needed; which is usually only when we have new awards or a change in Baron and Baroness. 
 - organizes scroll painting parties (supplies & paint are included with the job) or brings the painting supplies to events or socials
 - coordinates dropping off and picking up blanks with the existing "scriptoriums" or paint parties around the region
 - shepherds the collection of wax seals (I will also teach whoever takes the job how to make and store them)
 - finds someone (or does it themselves) to do the calligraphy for the names and dates on award scrolls at Madrone's major events.
 - gets to hang out with the Baron and Baroness (way cool part of the job)
 - Baronial office lasts two years. You also give regular reports. 

So, if you're interested, this is a PRIME opportunity to have fun, meet people, help behind the Big Chairs, and have lots of fun coloring in charter scrolls. You're the keeper of the paint, so you can paint them in whenever you want.
