A plea for help from the Scribe of the Summits,

At Bargamels this weekend the Summits Scribe's Scroll Box vanished.

I am hoping that someone thought it was needed in court or elsewhere and
moved it from the classroom,and then forgot to return it. This is a loss not
only to me personally but to the Summits Scribes who worked hard to paint the
Scrolls, and the populace who will not receive those scrolls.

The Scroll box is 18" tall, by 24" Wide, and about 4" deep. It is light
colored wood with sanded corners, brass hinges and snap locks, with a collapsible
leather handle at the top, for ease of carrying. The box breaks apart and
becomes a portable drafting table. The box was made by Eames Corporation.

The box contained:
    * The Entire set of Masters Charters for the Current and Past reigns
of the Summits
    * 15 painted Scrolls/Charters for both the reigns of Gabriel et Avin,
and Sven et Signy
    *   A large Wood and Plastic T-Square
    * A large cork backed metal ruler
    *   A brand new pad of 11" x 17" Graph Paper
    * The top band of cloth for my chair
The loss of finished work done by Scribes of the Summits upsets me deeply.

Major work will have to be done to recover and/or try to recreate the
Charter Masters so that Scrolls will be available for Awards to the populace of the
Summits.

I would like to thank all the event staff who quietly spent all of Saturday
and Sunday looking for the box. As well as the members of the populace who
were aware of it's loss and tried to help find it.

Should you get home from the event and in unloading your cars/trucks happen
to find the box among your things please contact me off list at
_spydrbaet at aol.com_ (mailto:spydrbaet at aol.com) . Or call me at  503-585-5571.

As Summits Scribe I ask for your help in finding this. Please know that both
their Highness's and the Tanist's are aware of the loss and wish for the
speedy recovery of the painted Scrolls and their Charter Masters.

With a sad heart,
Mistress Alainne de Lacy
Gryphon Scribe

Please feel free to forward this missive to anyone you feel could help in
this matter.
