Greetings to the Scribes from Dame Tamlyn,

I was so delighted and impressed by this young man's efforts that I asked
his mom if I could forward the link to others to see as well:


For those of you who know Galen from the last few years of Wynter
Retreats, I'd like to show you what he has done for a project for
school.

This was his idea and is mostly his work except for I helped with the
painting.  He would never have even thought about such a project if it
weren't for the classes and encouragement he has received at Wynter
Retreat where he learned about reed pens, calligraphy techniques, book
binding, paper folding, and painting.

It took him 5 months to complete.
