[Antir_scribes] Scriptorium Wednesday April 4th

Greetings from Dame Tamlyn,

 

There will be a scriptorium Wednesday evening in Wyewood from 7-10 pm.
Please bring any Charters you have finished or are almost finished with so
we can send them along to Mistress Abigail. Peruse the library (find the new
stuff:-), watch a DVD, and enjoy the company of fellow scribes. Bring your
spares - I only have one blank left:-}

 

Depending on how much time is available and how much interest is expressed
I'd like to start some "practice sessions" on first Wednesdays. This month
I'm going to bring out inks and various writing implements and let people
experiment around with them - have a question and answer time on the good,
the bad and the sometimes functioning;-} and talk about how to get started
doing calligraphy. In May I'm offering a "practice session" on designing
charters - where to get ideas, methods for constructing a master Charter,
good and bad design concepts or pitfalls.
