Ahrrrrg! Techno Pookas are beating me senseless! Now I have to separate out the recipients. You just don't want to know what I have been through trying to get this one out! One last try.

My computer informed me that it failed to send this on the first try. Huh? But I forgot a couple of things so I guess it is for the best. Sorry if this is a repeat due to techno burps.

Greetings from Keterlin:

Here is a bit of info for those what asked.

The woodblock prints done for Maximilian are in three works. The Triumph of Maximilian contains, The Procession, Arch, and Chariot. There was also a Funerary procession which I have not looked into at this time. Each of the three are made up of multiple prints, several hundred in the first two.

I just finished a veritable asstack (pardon) of research for said images and this was the best source I found. You can click on the images and then get zooms and prints...

You will want to look up artists Hans Burgkmair, Hans Spriningklee, Albrecht Durer, Albrecht Altdofer, Lenard (Lohenard & other spellings) Beck, Wolf Traut, Hans Weiditz, Jorg Kolderer und Hans Sebald Beham, and so on.

http://www.thebritishmuseum.ac.uk/compass/ixbin/goto?id=OBJ2502 This is the British museums digital archive of the Triumphal arch. Limited zooms available and print quality is low.

http://www.artbma.org/paintedprints/html/pp11.html short information about colored prints of the arch.

http://www.wga.hu/frames-e.html?/html/d/durer/2/12/8triumph/index.html Some nice details from the arch and a brief intro to Durer.

http://durer.szepmuveszeti.hu/eng_durer.html Possibly the most complete collection of these woodcuts, unfortunate bug/limitation with zoom and print process

Here are some other links that may be helpful as well.

Unfortunately a lot of the other links I had are broken, but there is a lot of stuff out there, and this should be enough to get going on things. Don't forget that there are some wonderful books out there for your libraries as well.
