Sorry for the general posting, I wanted to let those living in the
Stromgard/Fire Mountain Keep area know that there will be a gathering at the
Lewis and Clark State Park ELC
http://www.parks.wa.gov/parkpage.asp?selectedpark=Lewis%20%26%20Clark in
Chehalis this Friday and Saturday (Thanksgiving weekend). Classes will
include Gottingen Model Book foliage, writing with a quill, parchment
preparation, gilding and painting on parchment.  For further information see

Come join us at the Wynter Scribes Retreat!


SITE:
November 23 Thru 26 at Lewis and Clark State Park near Chehalis Washington

Early Wynter Scribal Retreat will be held American Thanksgiving weekend and
will be held instead of Wynter Retreat between Christmas and New Years.

Site opens at 6 PM  Thursday the 23rd and Closes at Noon on Sunday the 26th.



This is not an SCA Event. It is a time to socialize with other Scribes and
learn from them! This is a garb optional retreat during the day, but we
usually dress in garb for dinner. 
Site fees are to cover expenses as this is privately funded.


COST:
The cost for the weekend is 40.00 if you plan on spending the night. (you
must let us know ahead of time).


5.00 per day if you wish to day trip to attend a class.

Once you have reserved a bed, please plan on paying the 40.00 when you
arrive, to reimburse Dame Tamlyn and HL Alainne.
(20.00 for the bed and 20.00 for your food)


TO BRING:
As always bring your Scribal Supplies; including your lamp and an extension
cord if overhead lighting is not enough.
Current projects 
Snacks and munchies (Schoolboys are great!)
Your favorite soda or juice (coffee, Tea, Water, and Milk will be available
with meals)
The site has the standard amenities:
    Bunks with no bedding provided (Bring your own bedroll)
    Showers (Bring your own Towels and Toiletries)
    A Kitchen and Dining Room ( Food will be served Friday through Sunday
morning)
    Cool weather so bring your warm comfy clothes.
