An AFS client generally mounts AFS on /afs.
Beneath this are mountpoints for cells your client knows about. A client "knowing" about a cell can happen in several ways.
In the basic case, /afs is a mountpoint for the volume root.afs in your home cell. Cell administrators create mountpoints for any cells users should be able to access.
cells must be listed both here and in the client's CellServDB file.
