You're on your own for Lunch, but here are several suggestions you might find interesting. With the exception of the last 3, all of these are within a 5-minute drive of the site.
San Diego Brewery, strip mall on the Northwest side of Mission George at the corner with Zion (Behind Carl's Junior). Micro-brewery with a pub menu (hamburgers, sandwiches, nachos, pub chips [share with a friend, the nacho and fries servings are huge], etc.) Also an extensive menu of beers and ales. The traditional place for after-council dinners in Calafia.
Taco Bell, on the North side of Waring just West of Zion.
Lucky's Deli, in the Lucky supermarket at Zion and the South side of Waring. The deli has made-to-order sandwiches that are quite tasty, as well as a hot-item menu.
Rubio's, Northwest corner of Zion and Mission George. Fast-food Mexican, famous for the fish tacos.
Einstein Brother's Bagels, same building as Rubio's. West-coast style Bagel shop.
Carl's Junior, corner of Zion and Mission George.
Green Burito, inside Carl's Junior. Fast-Food Mexican.
Stewart Anderson's Black Angus, one block West of Zion on Friar's Road (just after it forks off from Mission George), on the North side of the road. Steak house with all the trimmings.
Twin Golden Dragon, behind Stewart Anderson's.
Felippi's, behind Stewart Andersons. Italian food, fairly American-Traditional.
Mario's Pizza, accross the street (to the South) from Black Angus.
Troy's Greek, in the same strip-mall as the Brewery. The Sunday Morning Buffet is worthwhile, and served until 2pm.
Mandarin Villaege, Chinese buffet, next to the Brewery. Closed Sunday.
Boston Market, accross the street from Black Angus (to the East). Chicken, Turkey, Meatloaf plus sandwiches. Good side dishes.
Coco's, in the same parking lot as Rubio's.
Smoothie King, same location as the Brewery.
SubMarina, next to Smoothie King. Sandwich shop.
Burger King, corner of Mission George and Friars.
Jack in the Box, roughly 1 mile East of Zion on Mission George. There's a shortcut, ask for directions.
Several pizza places and some other eateries, Northeast side of Mission George at Zion.
For an excellent Sicillian Pizza, try Tivoli's Italian. It's a bit far away, but well worth the drive. Southeast corner of Jackson and Navaho, with Keil's Grocery, maybe 10 minutes from the site. They also make excellent lasagna, etc.
Arby's, Southeast corner of Jackson and Navaho, outbuilding in the same parking lot as Keil's.
Boll Weevil, Northwest side of Mission George just North of I-8. Very Good Hamburgers. Hot dogs, chili, etc.
